Unveiled at the last Geneva Motor Show, the new Megane RS will arrive in concession in October 2009 and looks even more formidable than the last.
The 4-cylinder 2.0-liter turbo is renewed on the new model to win passage of a few extra horses and torque.
It now shows 250 hp and 340 Nm of torque at 3000 r / min with 80% available from 1900 r / min for a combined fuel consumption of 8.4 L/100 and a rejection of C0 ² 195g.
To its weight when it should not move too much and will remain around 1350 kg, pending tests show it is hoped a 0 to 100 km / h in 6 seconds.
This release will be entitled to a specific interior and will be available as the Megane II Sport with chassis or Cup (10 mm lower than the Sport chassis).
