The new Polo GTI Images

After the Golf, it was the turn of the Volkswagen Polo small to qualify for a sporty version with the GTI.

The small city car from Volkswagen will bare their teeth at the Geneva show, in fact it is at this show it will be officially presented.

With 180 hp thanks to the recent 1.4 TSI turbocharged, the new Polo GTI sees its chassis lowered by 15 mm for greater dynamism.

And it accelerates hard this new Polo GTI, it allows 0 to 100 km / h in under 7 seconds with 6.9 seconds.

Despite this performance, his appetite is fairly simple with 6 litres/100 km and a rejection of 139 g / km of CO2.

Side equipment New Polo GTI will be well equipped with LED daytime running lights, the robotized gearbox DSG 7-speed that works wonders, a limited slip differential, ABS and ESP, the 17-inch wheels and all of this series.

Frankfurt 2009: Volkswagen Golf R

The Audi S3 and Seat Leon cupra other R's have better watch out, VW has finally unveil the replacement for the Golf R32, code name: the Golf R.

While the Golf R32 had a V6 engine, the Golf R adopts the 4-cylinder 2.0 TSI 270 hp and 350 Nm of torque resulting from the Audi S3.

While fans will say that the mechanics are less noble, this engine brings only good news, of what concern to create the Ford Focus RS and Megane RS at the last.

Performance is high volleys with only 5.5 seconds to reach 100 km / h or 7/10 less than the R32. From an environmental point of view, consumption falls logically with the adoption of 4-cylinder (8.5 litres/100km) and C02 emissions are just under 200 grams (199 g / km).

The new Golf R20 or R in relation to its displacement benefits of AWD and 4motion sees its chassis lowered by 25 mm compared to the new Golf GTI and has many of the now famous box decorated with DSG paddles.

Regarding the outside, even if it seems a bit less exuberant than the Golf R32, it will be available with aluminum rims 18 inch or 19 inch optional and has a dual exhaust.

The new Volkswagen Polo 2009

The new Volkswagen Polo which was presented at the last Geneva Motor Show is finally available to dealers of the VW group.

And of course this new model brings with it new.

First design side, the lines are taut and marked, somewhat in the style of the next Golf .
