We waited for a while and finally here, the Audi RS5 is presented in preview at the Geneva Motor Show 2010.

After the Audi S5 and its V8 354 hp, this is the RS5 with its naturally aspirated V8 450HP after the audi RS4.
A big sigh of relief after the rumors which projected a downsized V6 from the recent S4 and a big smile for fans of sportsmanship, because like all the car enthusiasts know, the V8 engine is the one that best suits a sport.

The V8 with direct injection has been repeatedly recognized for its high performance flight, and the RS5 Audi's engineers have further improved.
On the Audi RS4 and R8 he developed 420HP at 7000trs/min, RS5 on no fewer than 450 hp at 8250 revs / min and a torque of 430nm.
That's enough to make life difficult for the BMW M3 as the Audi RS5 reached 100km / h in 4.6 seconds.
Side of the equipment, the Audi RS5 has a 7-speed S Tronic gearbox with double clutch, a new limited slip differential that splits torque load on the front or rear depending on traction, the Audi Drive Select lets you choose which three driving modes: comfort, dynamic and self and thus to vary the height of suspension up to 20 mm.
And the Audi RS5 is equipped on the famous four-wheel drive Quattro system.

Externally, the Audi RS5 is still in the style of the RS with a rocker style front and brushed aluminum mirrors, a honeycomb grille, air inlets and enlarged two huge oval tailpipes.

Icing on the cake, the Audi RS5 also benefits like the TT-RS a retractable rear spoiler, depending on your speed.
That's enough to drool worshipers of the German mark, which will afford to pay this monster that cost about a whopping 77,000 euros, without of course options.
