After the recent introduction of the Panamera, Porsche is working on a new version of its legendary models, the Porsche 928.

To recall, the Porsche 928 was produced between 1977 and 1995 to just over 60,000 copies and is the first Porsche to have had a V8 engine in the forward position.

928 The future will take the same platform as the Panamera but with a shorter wheelbase for extra strength. That is why we find here the same front.

Porsche 928 for 3 / 4 back
Ditto for the engines, the 928 will be entitled to 4.8 liters V8 400 or 500 horsepower Turbo GTS version already installed the Porsche Cayenne and Panamera. It will be available in single drive or with all-wheel drive for better traction and a hybrid version is also expected.
The Porsche 928 will be placed on the 2 +2 coupe segment, above the 911 range and thus directly compete with the Aston Martin DB9 and other luxury GT.
Marketing in 2012 and no price has yet been disclosed.
