Images, videos and details of the Porsche Panamera

Porsche has finally decided to leave its super sporty 4-seater, the Panamera.

This is a 4 door coupe sedan following the trend launched by the Mercedes CLS.

It is only available for now, in three petrol versions:

- The S and 4S with four-wheel drive, V8 400 hp and 500 Nm of torque

- Version with Turbo V8 increased to 500 hp and 700 Nm of torque.

A new controlled suspension with electronic management appeared with several setting modes: Normal, Sport and Sport Plus.

With 4.97 m long, 1.93 m wide and 1.42m tall, this Panamera is impressive and it's not the volume of his chest which contradict us: of 432 dm ³ to 1,250 dm ³ with the seats folded.

Performance is on the agenda: the 0-100km / h in 4.2 s (4s with the aerodynamic kit) for the Panamera Turbo and 5.4 s for the Panamera S.

Consumption of the V8 is not too bad for a car of 1800 kg with a minimum average of 10.8 l/100 km for the S and 12.2 l/100km for the Turbo, in part due to lower speeds of 7 the PDK dual-clutch gearbox.

A V6 hybrid version should also be launched soon.
