Since the Porsche 911 Carrera GT, Porsche did not unveil supercar worthy of the name, this is done with the Porsche 918 Spyder.

But what makes this Porsche 918 event it is mainly its two electric motors developing 215 horsepower extra, they are powered by a lithium-ion battery housed just behind the cockpit. They allow, in "E-Drive", to ride without the use of V8 for nearly 25 km.
Weighing just 1490 kg, this concept is a real lightweight in connection with any technology that is there. To achieve this weight Porsche has used materials such as ultra-light, carbon fiber, aluminum and magnesium.
Performance is also incredible with a 0 to 100 km / h in 3.2 seconds and killed a top speed of 320 km / h.
Porsche announces potential consumption of 3 liters per 100 km and CO2 emissions of about 70 grams per kilometer, but they do not say what mode. That said and with the Ferrari 599 hybrid, we can see that the builders of luxury take the turn too politically correct.
